A week long bedside vigil, waiting, wishing, and hoping. I am sad at the loss of such a wonderful woman but I am calmed by the knowledge that today she can rest. I love you Grandma. xoxox Megan

Uh Oh, Christmas talk already!

I was lying in bed last night feeling this babies very first kicks when I realized that I am letting way too much time pass with out even one update.
I am now 16 weeks along and the boys are as excited as ever. Okay, Greg is, Joey is still a little worried.
The house is nearly over run with cloth diapers now. and two onesies. It is hard to believe that there are only 5 months left before our bundle arrives.
I will be making a point of getting some photos uploaded of the boys this weekend. I don't really have any recent ones up anywhere.
Joseph was reminding me this week that I have to start posting photos for Santa otherwise he wont know what Joseph wants for Christmas. Even the kids get excited way too early. I thought it was bad that I was already to go out and buy cards and gifts.
The Christmas baking list is now being put together even though I wot actually start any baking till December, I just like to be prepared. But this also gives you a chance to give me some input. Do you have any requests, or suggestions?
This year I will not be making coffee syrup as it seems many of you didn't know what to do with it last time. Even mine went bad it sat so long. But in case there are any fans out there that are going to miss this here is the recipe:

Coffee Syrup

1 cup of Sugar
3/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of vanilla extract (feel free to use any other flavour)

Mix all 3 ingrediants in a pot and bring to a boil stirring to ensure that the sugar is fully disolved. Cool, store and enjoy.

Well, I am off to drop the boys off at Grandmas and head to work. Happy weekend everyone.

Goodbye Facebook Hello Blog

So, some of you may have noticed that I have been AWOL from Facebook for the last few months, having removed my profile and everything. Then POW, suddenly I am back.
Don't get used to it. This is temporary.
I haven't missed Facebook, haven't counted the days or even months I have been with out. What I have missed was having a place to post family photos and keep everyone up to date on what me and the boys are up to.
I am expecting now, 11 weeks in and I know that I am going to have to have somewhere to post the baby announcement. Oh, and Dan and I are also happily engaged. Bet you didn't know that either.
This blog is my new Facebook replacement, my gift to my family and close friends.
Over the next few weeks I will polish up this blog and post my posts to Facebook to encourage my friends and family to come here to follow my blog because come the new year I will be closing my Facebook account FOREVER.
